Alan R. Graham, PhD, PCC, SCAC
Director

As a consultant, coach, therapist,
educator, author and presenter, Alan R. Graham has over two decades of
experience helping thousands of individuals, families and organizations
navigate life's challenges, and gain the tools they need to manage
emotional and business issues. Uniquely trained in business, education
and psychology, Dr. Graham obtained his Ph.D. at Northwestern University
and completed his training at the University of Illinois at Chicago and
Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Graham is a graduate of
the MentorCoach training program and teaches ADHD Coaching as a member of the MentorCoach
Training Team.
Dr. Graham's experience has included
working with individuals, families and organizations in a
variety of settings. He has consulted to many large and small
organizations including Deloitte Consulting, Abbott Labs, Leo Burnett,
Wrigley, Melvin Secutiries, and Magellan Behavioral Health. While creating his group
practices, ACP Consultants and the ADD Centers, he also held the
position of adjunct professor at the University of Illinois School of
Medicine and at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. With Dr.
Bill Benninger, Dr. Graham created ADDvisor.com, a coaching organization
for individuals with ADHD and their families. He is certified by the
Institute for the Advancement of ADHD Coaching (IAAC) as a Senior
Certified ADHD Coach (SCAC).
As a way of sharing his skills and
experience, Dr. Graham serves as the chair of the steering committee for
the American Psychological Association Business of Practice Network (BOPN)
and is a member of the Illinois Psychological Association Consulting
Section. Dr. Graham is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a member of the International
Coaching Federation.
Recognized for his work by peers and
clients alike, he presents and writes on psychological, positive
psychology, child and
family, and business issues throughout the United States. He is
currently completing a book with co-authors Karlin Sloan, Kevin Cuthbert
and Niles Engerman entitled, "Lemonade: How Resilient Leaders Make
Challenge into Opportunity." Dr. Graham is
married and has
three grown children.
