Snehee Shah is a doctoral practicum student at Adler University’s Psy.D in Clinical Psychology program. She earned her B.A. in Psychology at University of California, Riverside, worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital as an intake specialist, assisted unhoused families south of Chicago, and she recently completed her assessment training working with clients across the lifespan, with a focus on adolescents and families.

Because of her experience working across the lifespan and varying socioeconomic statuses, she strongly values meeting clients where they are. She aims to provide demographic-considerate care and a safe space for the expression of different identities.

Snehee supports families, adults, and adolescents with concerns related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance use, executive functioning, low self-esteem, and emotional dysregulation by utilizing evidence-based treatments, such as CBT and harm reduction. Her approach is rooted mainly in Humanistic and Adlerian frameworks. With this foundation, Snehee encourages clients to take charge of their lives while considering their unique strengths, comfort, and safety.

Due to her strong value in the client-therapist relationship, Snehee meets clients where they are first with clear communication. She enjoys working alongside clients and providing psychoeducation, so clients may become the expert of their journey.
