Sophie Zuckett is a doctoral practicum student pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and has received specialized training in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions across a variety of clinical settings.

Sophie has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families through psychological assessment and psychotherapy. Her clinical work has included supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, perfectionism, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. She values collaborating with parents, schools, and other providers when appropriate to provide comprehensive, individualized care.

Sophie approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity. She believes that healing begins within a genuine, collaborative therapeutic relationship built on empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. Guided by a humanistic, person-centered philosophy, her work is further informed by psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives. She integrates evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Drawing from both her professional training and collaborative therapeutic style, Sophie believes that each client possesses inherent strengths and the capacity for growth. Her goal is to create a supportive, compassionate environment where clients feel empowered to explore difficult experiences, deepen self-awareness, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
