Position Summary

ACP Consultants is seeking a licensed, license-eligible or post-doc neuropsychologist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary practice. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about providing thoughtful, comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and values working as part of a supportive team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse referral base across the lifespan while collaborating with psychologists representing a variety of clinical specialties and theoretical orientations.

Our practice has established referral relationships with primary care physicians, neurologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, therapists, schools, and community providers, offering the opportunity to build a thriving assessment practice while serving a broad range of clinical populations.

We welcome applicants with experience evaluating cognitive, neurological, developmental, and psychological conditions. Particular interest or expertise in dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders is highly valued, as is experience working with children and adolescents.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations across the lifespan.
  • Assess cognitive, neurological, developmental, learning, attention, memory, and emotional functioning using evidence-based assessment methods.
  • Evaluate individuals presenting with concerns related to dementia, mild cognitive impairment, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disorders, and other neurological or neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Integrate clinical interviews, clinical observations, medical history, collateral information, and standardized testing into clear, meaningful diagnostic formulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive, well-written evaluation reports with individualized, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Provide compassionate and collaborative feedback sessions to patients and their families, helping them understand evaluation findings and treatment recommendations.
  • Opportunity to take on a psychotherapy caseload
  • Collaborate with physicians, neurologists, psychiatrists, therapists, schools, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to doctoral practicum students, fostering the development of clinical assessment skills, diagnostic reasoning, report writing, patient feedback, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional identity through thoughtful guidance, modeling, and constructive feedback.
  • Participate in case consultation and contribute to the collaborative, team-oriented culture of the practice.
  • Maintain timely documentation while adhering to ethical, legal, and professional standards of practice.
